Thanks Darrel. I checked out his site and will probably get a quote from him. Lonnie - I work for Malt-O-Meal, we're opening a new plant in Asheboro. After spending the past year working on an expansion project in our Utah plant I got the opportunity to move to NC and help start up that facility. We...

Correct that, I'm moving from Minnesota to North Carolina not moving Minnesota to North Carolina. That would be a neat trick!

I'm moving Minnesota to North Carolina. Looking for some recommendations on haulers that can move my 64 and another car for me. Must be enclosed trailer and reputable company or person. Any suggestions?

I haven't been on the site for awhile, lots of travel for work etc. I'm sitting in a hotel room tonight and decided to see what's new on the slick site. WOW!! You should be proud, I love the color. I had a 69 close to that color. Thanks for making my night more interesting. Awesome job!! I also love...

I can only tell you what the magazine article said. They claimed it was one of 6 trucks that was part of the Shelby team. It is also supposed to have autographs on the dash from two of the mechanics who were on the shelby team. The proceeds from the sale are going to the Carroll Shelby charity. They...

slick cobra hauler

saw this in Old Cars Weekly magazine, one of six trucks used by the Shelby American Racing Team in 1966 to haul around his cobras. The magazine had a picture of how it originally looked, someone converted it to a flatbed. It would be sweet but a little out of my price range.

I'm alive and well. I live about an hour south of that bridge but have travelled over it many times. This week I'm out in Utah for business so I wasn't anywhere near it. Another guy from MN that's out here with me got a call from his wife, she was stuck in traffic 200 feet away from getting onto the...

I actually saw an article on cars you should look for if you wanted to buy something that would be collectible in the future and a certain model of the Granada listed. It seems that a few were made with the 5.0 and 4 speed setup from the mustangs of that era. I don't remember how many but it sounded...

I've got a 390 in my slick and if you asked me what kind of mileage it gets I'd have to say "beats the heck out of me" never checked it and don't really care. It's not a daily driver and was never intended to get good mileage. When it gets low, I fill it up and move on. The enjoyment I get...

Studes are cool!! I picked up a 51 champion starlight coupe a couple of years ago, haven't had time to start on it yet but I've got plenty of ideas in my head. Join the Studebaker drivers club, they send out a great magazine every month with loads of info and vendor ads.
