I THINK I have a 240 in my 65 F100, I want to go with a HEI or DS ii BUT can't seem to find a listing for such, I have found listings for HEIs that say will fit 5/16 shafts but NO FOR SURE listing for the 240. I would rather NOT pull the distributor TILL I have a replacement, will the 300 fit the 240?

Anyone have their KNOWN (240 / 300) Oil Pump drive laying around?
Can you measure (THICKNESS) for me?

I'm trying to locate a HEI distributor, ones I find give a DRIVE SIZE as a go by, since I have NO IDEA what the 240 / 300 size is I need it to order.

I want to remove the stock distributor and replace it with a HEI, I see many advertised using the SIZE of the shaft, I assume it is the distributor grive shaft, does anyone KNOW for a FACT they have a distributor out of a 240 that can measure the shaft hopefully with calipers or micrometers for me? ...
