Re: Rear Axle Seals and Gear Oil
Liberty, That is the correct part number. The seal is "tapped" into the axle housing and not pressed onto the axle itself. You might be able to pull the axle free by hand. If not, you can put the drum back on in reverse and loosely thread a couple of lugs on. A couple of pulls on the drum ...

Re: 3rd Member Question
I'd verify the lash. If it is off you will just chew it up. Also verify your axles have the same number of teeth as there are 28 and 31 spline versions. My yoke is 28 spine and it fits on the pinion. I'll check the lash when I get it all together. Thanks If, the third member was set up right then y...

3rd Member Question
Need some assurance that I am doing the right thing. I haven't messed with the backside before so this is new ground I am treading. Any insight would be appreciated. Took everything apart this past week and the ring and pinion are shot. Everything else looks ok(Axles, carrier, etc.). I found a set f...

Re: Radiator mounting question on a 66?
I'm a little late chiming in since you found the right one. But just a FYI, I found Spectra Premium CU480 Complete Radiator fits the '66 2wd supports. That is what I got for mine and it installed without issue. Thanks for your info though.

Re: some basic questions/ first post
Not sure if you found any help on the carb. Here is a good video that I found that may help. I also purchased his rebuild kit and my 2 bbl 2100 runs like a champ after hesitation and acceleration issues. Hope that helps.

Re: Everyone who has changed out a turn signal switch.......
I just did mine last week. I agree with all that is said. I used some parachord and taped it around all the ends. It was tight but doable. I also would suggest loosing the bracket down by the dash. That seemed to help with wiggle and pull. Also, check out this write up. http://mongrelmotorsports.pur...

Re: Is your Slick a DD?
I am a new member. Just purchased a '66 F100 last week. Have a few issues to take care of first then it will be a DD while I continue to work on it. Should have it on the road by the weekend.
