goonie i bought a 65 ford galaxie 500 ltd 4 door had a 352 automatic and a 9inch in it. Car sat for 10 years or so a friend and i put a battery in it pored a little gas down the carb and it started right up no knocks ticks or anything. I junked the rest of the car except the motor tranny i sold the ...

well its a 352 with a 4sp.

is there anyother trannies i can look for that will work with out shorting the driveshaft.

i have a 66 ford f100 with a big block had a 4 speed bull dog in it. took the last couple days (off and on) pulling the tranny to put in an automatic, i had a 65 ford galaxie with a big block and auto tranny, i wanted to put that tranny in my truck well me being a youngen i assumed it would work and...

wylie that kewl, most likely it will be sat. night some time about 6 or so if thats cool with u going to try and rebuild the carb on the truck and get the rest of that galaxie out of my garage.... not much left since ive took the sawzall to it....
