Holy cow, that does look a LOT like my truck. You dont see too many with the Ford factory brush guard attached. And it is in NY too. Is that truck upstate or down? The newer wheels work well, I had these on my '72 but swapped them when I sold that. But, I actually like the split-rims that this guy h...

Pedal pads are going to be ordered tomorrow. How did you know? Also, have a sweet tailgate that I just got from ebay. Its white with red letters so it might :?: work until I paint it. It is in great shape though, so I am thrilled with it.

Hey my truck is doing great! :D Thanks for asking. And thanks for reminding me about my outdated pictures. I just added a bunch of brand new ones for your viewing pleasure!

Also, I sold my '72, so the slick is the only truck I have right now. :(

People die everyday from smoking. That doesnt stop anyone else from lighting up. My neighbor's wife "wont let him" buy a bike and he always reminds me how I am going to die when I ride mine. I stay out of the sun, but my neighbor and his wife lie on their deck all day and then go tanning a...

Dash Knobs

Hi.
Can someone tell me how to remove the dash knobs from my 65 F250? I see that there is a little slot cut in the plastic knob and I am imagining that gives me access to what ever is holding the knob on the shaft, but I have not been successful. :(
Thanks in advance.

Hey Jeff, Just be carefull with the Autozone website. That is exactly what I came up with when I needed brakes for my 72 F250 (4x4) with the Dana 60 rear, but when I went to do the job they were actually 2" wide brakes. I was very surprised thinking that my truck was heavy duty, but come to fin...

ummm, yeah... Not quite what I had in mind. You know, I commited a sin and surfed on over to a very cool Dodge Power Wagon site (what can I say, it was my first truck) and being that they have the same axles our Fords have, maybe I can use some of there resources to find me a set of wheels. Lets see...

Hi John, Nice to "see" you here. Check this picture out of this '59. These, to me look much bigger than the 16's. I am assuming they are the optional, larger, wheels. Okay..... I dont know how to post a picture here... How about a link: http://trucks.about.com/library/graphics/69_F250.jpg

19 1/2 inch wheels

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. And now for my first question. I have a 1965 "Facts and Figures" manual for my truck, its a reprint, but I gotta think most of what is in there is accurate. Anyway, listed under the F250 section, it has the standard wheel size of 7x16, and then a whole bun...

Introduction

Hi Everyone, I have made a few posts here, but did not properly introduce myself. My name is Steve and I live in Rochester NY. I currently have a 1965 F250 and a 1972 F250, both 4wd. I have pictures in my gallery of the '65, and since I just got it at Christmas time, as I work on it, I will update t...

In Rochester NY we went from 24 to 82 degrees in the span of about a week and a half. It was crazy. But the snow is gone (for now) and everything looks like normal.

YES! I hate the wheels. Oddly enough, when I bought my 72 it had the same wheels on it. I was able to find some take-offs from a newer model and go back to the stock look. I have the original split-rims for both trucks (8 in all) and the 1972 has the original tires mounted on them! I really want to ...

OK, the pics are out there in my user gallery. I don't have very many good ones yet, and a couple of them are the pictures the seller took for ebay. Once the weather gets warm (In June  ) I'll take some better pictures.
Thanks for looking!

Hi Everyone, I just signed up here today, and I will properly introduce myself once I get some pictures up. I have a 1965 F250 4x4. Has only 17,000 miles on it It was a fire dept truck, and I bought it on eBay from the second owner. I just got it at Christmas and have not had it on the road yet. 352...
