Re: Correct original wheels for '65 F250
Btw, I just put the stock lock ring rims on my '66 f250 with 7.50 bias ply tires and love it. Get to use my stock hubcaps. We have a chain of tire stores here in the NW that works on split ring tires.

Re: Correct original wheels for '65 F250

The OP obviously wanted to know as he asked so why do you take issue with it being answered properly? A safety rim, a standard rim, split rim and also a multi-piece wheel...

Re: Slick on OverHaulin new season on Velocity
I just saw this show today with the '65 f100 on Netflix. I gotta be honest, I thought the truck looked great before they turned it into a clown mobile. Ruined that beautiful old '65. I like a mild custom that still maintains the integrity and the lines of the original, but I would have been furious ...

Re: What have you done to your slick today??
Actually, been having oil pressure issues with my f250. Been showing 10psi at start up and 0psi when warm. Replaced the oil sending unit today and lo and behold! Almost 40psi! Sometimes it's the small things(:

Re: Dana 60 axle...what to look for before installing?
No metal in the oil. Does anyone have the oem backlash specs?Did the oil have any indication of metal in it? Clean the gears with some brake cleaner. 1st step is checking backlash. If that is within acceptable tolerances, you'll want to check the pattern before running it.

Re: Dana 60 axle...what to look for before installing?
Ok, I took the cover off today. Not too much fun as it's about 10 degrees in my garage(: Everything LOOKS ok to inexperienced eye. My question is, how tight should everything be? There is a bit of up and down play in the two small rotating gears and I can rotate the yoke a bit back and forth before ...
