Re: Crockett, CA checking in.

:D good to see your back on it...and eager to see the crown vic bag mounts you speak of. I didn't know anyone was making anything for the vic as far as that goes.

Re: Crown vic, rim selection

The offset difference, if any, between my '03 wheels and your '06's has to be minimal. But the fear of rubbing fenders is ever present with these swaps. Especially when you have adjustable suspension, as in my case. I did some internet searching and have found no concrete definition of the offsets. ...

Re: Crown vic, rim selection

390fastback do you know the offset of your vic wheels? Or what year/model vic they came from? I have a different style vic wheel on mine. they are 16" in diameter. I like the way yours looks better than mine, gives the illusion of having more of lip than the style I have.

Re: Project: bagged, bodied, 66

yea I thought the that was weird too with the whole driveline offset to the passenger side. I'm guessing youre going to run yours straight down the middle?

Re: 62 step side,bagged and bodied,new project

dont do the cv front clip, the rear mount is right where the front body mount is so you cant Z the frame, ask me how i know plus there way to wide, im using a s10 clip, cost me 50 bucks with bag cups I ran into this same situation. But it sounds like he may have already z'ed the frame? awaiting pic...

Re: Crockett, CA checking in.

I had a hell of a time getting my tubs to line up and match as well on the s10. I got mine from tractor supply, and like you, found they were a little on the thin side. I will be looking for a better set for f100. I didnt like the two piece design mine had, made bodywork a pain.
