You mean I've actually been part of all of this for almost 22 years?

Re: Here is a story of the formation of the Slick 60's club.
I've been hanging around here since the end of the Excite days, stayed through the yahoo era, MSN groups era and now to our own space. Hard to believe 12 years has gone by since I started hanging around.

Re: 66 fuse block problem + thermostat
Uh, yeah. Had a failsafe on my 92, and it failed within one week of me putting it into my new motor. Spent the entire next three months with no heat until I could break everything open again.
Yeah, no more failsafe thermostats for me.......

Re: Mustang gas tank venting
I am running a marine filler through the floor. And the filter is most definitely to keep anything from going up the line and blocking it (mud daubers.)

Re: Batteries ?
I bought an optima yellow top for my 92 around two years ago, still going strong in my 05 super duty (same battery, just swapped them out between the two trucks) and no issues.
Bought it from Sams club for a lot less than Autozone! Paid around $160 for it new!

Re: Mustang gas tank venting
I used a piece of steel 1/4" tubing installed into the filler neck, before I put fuel anywhere near it. I then put on a piece of rubber hose and used another piece of steel line with a filter outside the frame rail on the passenger's side. You can see what it looks like in the picture. 1575

Re: Speaker installation in the cab
The fox body mustangs had a plastic cover that sat over the back of the speaker and installed with the speaker in the door. Of course these were ony for 6.5" speakers only.

I guess I'll have to join the ranks of those fat-bellied, Brooks Brothers clad, "farm truck" tagged, dressed-out Hummer-driving "professional farmers" here in the largely agrarian Metro Houston area :cussing: Paul I'll try my best to shake this mood before leaving for Slickstock...

Re: From the Third Coast
Welcome to our little corner of the world. Skip is our Founding Father, and I guess I could be the court jester so to speak (or the guy with the boat paddle stirring the pot!!!!!)
But seriously welcome. I am not around as much as I should be (but I will be soon.)

You can also try these guys too. They've been around awhile, used to see them in Mustang Monthly back when I had my 66 coupe.

Now that I have a chance to sit down for a little while... It was great to see everyone again, I know it's been a few years since we made it up there but we had a great time. We made it out of the area between rainstorms on Sunday morning. We'll come up there again, maybe not next year, but maybe th...

Really? What edit? I didn't edit anything. And as far as slamming someone, maybe you should go back into your own history here. I seem to remember something a couple of months back. You made a stab at me with your post in this topic. Let it go, grow up and put on some dry drawers and deal with it. D...
