Re: Anyone have a source for new engine mounts that fit? (30

Have you only tried to get mounts for a '65? I believe they were the same mounts clear through the '70s. The '79 300 I just got has the same mounts as my '66 240. You may be able to get a good mount by searching a newer year.

Front disc 2WD dust shields

Is there anyone who makes or sells decent used front disc dust shields for the 75-79 2WD F150? I got my disc front suspension from the bone yard today but the dust shields are basically gone.

Re: replacement 300 6 cyl mounts (rant)

Mine came from LMC and they were junk also. The passenger one fit on but the mount bolt was about 1/2" too far forward. The drives side wouldn't bolt up. Found good ones in the junk yard.

Re: Bench Seat Upholstery

Mine is all vinyl and green. I was a little off on the back design...two inset basketweave inserts. I haven't ever seen another seat like this other than black ones.

Re: Bench Seat Upholstery

I have a standard cab '66 short bed six cylinder that has the green interior. The seat cover is original with no embossing on the back. It is original and still had a clear seat cover on it when I got the truck. The only other one that I have seen with the same pattern was a black seat in a 4x4 '66 ...

Re: "Stainless"

I'm a new guy on here but saw your post and have some input. Try looking up Restoration Specialties in Windber, PA (I'm not sure of their website). They have a fair amount of automotive stainless available. Keep in mind that stainless likes to do one of two things: Vibrate loose or gall up. Use lock...
