Steering Column and Hood ??
I had a gap between the bottom of the steering wheel and the steering wheel column. So I loosened the column support under the dash and pried the column up a bit from the steering box. This seem to fix my gap issues under the steering wheel. Is this a common thing on these old trucks? I fixed the fl...

Re: Rear Diff help!!
Hayman: Assuming it's a 9" diff? You should be able to go out to pick'n'pull & find a 9" center section, just ask @ the counter on your way in, they will print a list out of the Hollander computer program telling you which models of ford vehicles have 28 spline. Even if the yokes are ...

Re: Wild bargain paint job article: I'm trying this.
Yeah I've seen those articles and videos before too. This Camaro done with a spray gun and tractor enamel paint looks good but as mentioned durability/fading would be an issue. Also that type of paint requires a lot more up keep compared to a 2K paint. m I guess it comes down if you have the time to...

'64 starter drive ??

In order to get it back into the home position(disengaged) like in picture you have to take a little pick and flip up a little ...

Yes I've done that with cables over the years too. These were too far gone though. The front cable I got moving good again though.

Rear parking breaking cables
Any place in Canada that would have the 2 rear parking brake cables for 1964 M100 I imagine they can be custom made local but just wondering if someplace has them already made. I heard there was a place in Ontario that makes cables for old vehicles.

'64 Cab rust repair - part sources?
Love the site! My son and I are restoring a '64 Mercury M100 long box. Truck was only on the road for 16 years and sat for ... 34. Its in very good shape for a 50 year old truck especially from my part of the world. My '97 ford pick up has more rust holes in it! I have to rebuild/replace the front c...
