Re: 2012 Bash at the beach. Pics from Detroit, Metrobeach

If I had to it would be the blown cobra swap...I love the old steel with new mills. Craig Woods works for Rousch Racing. That car is amazing here are a couple samples of what they are doing: thread: m Most of the work has been going on in the interior. This is the downfall to not using a modern mus...

My 70 Fairlane on the dyno-vid

This car gets neglected pretty bad. It sits all winter, I change the oil and mostly never open the hood to do anything. A local shop had a dyno day today and I just happened to drive by 298/HP 310TQ. I was hoping for 350/365 but I am OK with the numbers. Itll still do mid 13s and I never have to wor...

Re: My old truck. Kinda bummed

Unfortunately the reasons I parted with it have not changed, broke, no room, too many projects :(
Last thing I need is a 429 rebuild + all the stuff it needed before + Sanding off the guy's crappy paintjob.

My old truck. Kinda bummed

I had sold my 62 SWB 429/C6 to my buddy Glen. His plan was to slam it and clean it up some. He ended up selling it to a guy who did some of the bodywork and reshot it bright white. It looked like a scuff n spray but he fixed the tailgate and steps. My buddy sent me this pic from a local car show a m...

I love that generation of F series. Ive had two. The interiors never get dated looking and the front end looks massive in a rear view mirror.

Re: Back in a Ford DD. Not a slick though :(

seems these things are good for more than Slick front end swaps I second your opinion of this car Greg. Quiet, smooth. luxurious even in cop-trim but an absolute highway monster. 70 mph to 110 with 0 effort. I am pulling 19.75 MPG regularly. Mostly highway without babying it. Not great but better th...

Re: My old F100 is back up for sale again

Brian! Hope you are well! Its been repainted. Even a scuff n spray costs a few grand these days. I gotta question though. A guy I know blew me some greif because I questioned this guy's price. What is the going rate on a truck like this? I say 3k Now imagine one with a quality paint job (assuming th...

I paid $3000, Shipping was $800. I put in a good 3:00 open diff, disk conversion, detailed the 429 and spent $750 on the C6 rebuild.
I then sold it for $3000.

Hard to see it again. I still miss it.

Insane Torino project anyone?

Great build thread from one of the Torino guys Craig works at Rousch in Dearborn Finally.. after all these all nighters (thanks to all the local gang for helping out), we made it to the dream cruise, and managed to put some miles on the car. I am still in shock that this all panned out. We got so ma...
