Re: Identifying a CV Front End
I've noticed two different types of upper frame mounts. One looks to be aluminum and one style is steel. Any idea why the two types? Does this have anything to do with the Police Interceptor vs the standard CV? http://i1071.photobucket.com/albums/u507/falcain/5475744-Crown_Vic34_zpseb1d57c5.jpg http...

Could someone explain how to tell (without having the car as a reference) if a CV front end was removed from P71 Police Interceptor or standard car? I have the opportunity to purchase the front end shown below for $200, but I'm not sure if it is from the correct year range and if it is compatible wi...

CV Installation Offset
I'm installing a CV front end in my 64. Looking for feedback on if the center line of the CV assembly needs to be moved forward or back from the original front axle location to keep the wheels centered in the fender wells after the 5" drop. I'll be installing either 17"x8" or 18"...

Re: Steering column confusion
I don't believe an aftermarket column will allow me to use my stock steering wheel. I want to keep the original 64 wheel.

I have been searching through a mountain of posts looking for the correct steering column combination for my application, so I thought I would just ask for a clear answer... I have a 64 that I am performing the CV front conversion on. 1. Is it possible to mate the stock 64 steering column to the CV ...

New member looking for others in my area to get some build advice from. Especially if you have completed the CV front swap. I am just beginning a rebuild on a 64 F100 and would really like to see a completed conversion first hand. If you're in my area and would be willing to share some knowledge, pl...
