Carb Performance Question
I have a 352 with the 2100 on it. From my understanding it is a 300 cfm carb with the 1.14 venturi size. I do not tow or race it. It's a daily driver around town and on the highway running 75 mph or so. I am in Denver with thin air. My question is what kind of performance change would I expect if I ...

Re: Backup Lens ID
What truck are those off of? Those look like they might work. The ones on my truck have a slanted thick rubber gasket that angles them a bit because the bottom of the tail on mine slopes. They angle a bit. Honestly don't even know if they work to be honest. Haven't driven it much at night in a while...

Re: turn signal irritation
That's my problem basically. The wires at the bulkhead connector. I can't remember which way it happens, but basically something like when the headlights are off the turns work just fine. With the headlights on then the turns (front only) operate as flashers. I had some dangly bits too close to the ...

Backup Lens ID
I'm pretty sure these are not stock, but hoping someone can identify it.
These are on the tail of my 66 F250 Camper Special as backup lights. On the bottom edge of the glass is "I.G.C." and "5935955".

Map Pocket Trim Ring
Any ideas on where to get, or what to make out of, new map pocket trim rings?
I've only had one and that one is broken in half.

Re: No Start Red Blue Wire
Great. Thank you for the detail. Should be easy enough to pull it if I need to in the future.
Found the issue. Yes, automatic. Been a long week I guess. Completely spaced chucking it in to Park. It takes a good movement to get it there for the neutral switch.

No Start Red Blue Wire
I have no start. Dead nothing. Got a couple of questions. Battery is good. Power in the On position is good. I switched the Run and Ignition wires at the solenoid and the engine cranks. So I'm not getting power on the red/blue wire that energizes the solenoid to crank. The bulkhead connector is soli...

Re: Carb and Exhaust Setup
I currently have the 2100 2BBL with 2BBL intake. I don't have a 4BBL or 'large' intake. That Torino carb is a 2150 with slightly larger bores.

Re: Carb and Exhaust Setup
What would improve low end?
I guess I'm looking for more middle of the road setup for improvement. Yeah, have cake and eat it too.

Carb and Exhaust Setup
Wondering if anyone has run this setup and how it performs. I have a '66 with the 352 with stock manifolds and dual exhaust. It has a 2 barrel that is almost stock. I'm thinking of maybe running a 2 barrel from a '69 Torino or a '67 Galaxie 500 for the larger bore size, going to shorty headers and s...

Gauge panel swap
Will a late 50s gauge panel drop in place on a 66?
I have a 66 custom cab. I found a cheap gauge panel cluster from a late 50s model. The one with a center round speedo and the stars on each side. It looks like it should work but wondering if anyone knows for sure.

Re: Grill Swap
wow! that build
The bumper does look better. I do like the 50's grills and particularly the 56' headlights. That rendering is basically what I would like to have. But I'm sure nobody makes that for a 60's front end.

Has anyone tried to swap a mid-50s grill and headlight setup onto a mid-60s front end?

Re: 2100 Carb Thermostatic Choke No Heat
I know it is general blasphemy to reference another site, but I got the info and detail I was looking for here regarding my auto choke and heat source. http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/806018-choke-questions-answered.html But I'm still not sure on that driver side heat riser that essentially just b...

Re: 2100 Carb Thermostatic Choke No Heat
tomrooster - there's nothing there from the riser to run to the intake. It's just the weighted wheel and coil from what I can see. So it just blocks exhaust gases from what I can tell. Do you know if there would be a port at it somewhere?

Re: 2100 Carb Thermostatic Choke No Heat
I don't have holes in the manifold. The passenger side has the cast nub but there's no hole. The driver side just has the riser but all I see is the wheel and coil and no hole.

Re: 2100 Carb Thermostatic Choke No Heat
There's a boss on the passenger side manifold but no hole or anything. On the driver side there is a heat riser there, but all I can see is the weighted wheel and spring. I can't see any place for a tube to connect to. It looks a lot like this (not sure how long this url will last for but hopefully ...
