Hey Hiboy. Where did you get that parts diagram pic ? Manual or something? Would love to have one for my 65. Greg D - Better explanation than mine. I knew where they go but wasn't sure of actual part name. I can't wait till I get to the part where I'm putting mine back on. That will be a while ...

Hey Japedo,

I have two un-molested beds from 65 F100's. They both measure 65" dead up. Good luck on the bed work. I need to start on my bed sometime in the near future.

I don't know if this will works on a power booster but I bought a dual MC for a late 60's mustang and it bolted right up with correct push rod length. I DON'T have the power booster. I got info from this website about 4 or 5 years ago. I read where others have done that so I tried it. I have PS box,...

Im at about the same stage you are. Mine is down to frame for sanding and painting. Getting new floorpans put in and some other minor sheet metal work done. Can't wait to see some FRESH paint being sprayed.

Take Care and Good luck on yours,

I agree :D

I have bought many parts from him over the years from the Swap meets in Moultrie, Ga. He re-built a steering column for me and I picked it up at the show last month.

He knows these old trucks prettty damn good.

Thanks again Tom,

Larry

Hey William, I can't help with adapters but I opted to put a "rubber piece" in my tranny lines right before the radiator just for the "flexibilty issue". Not really sure that it is necessary but I did just to make me feel better. I understand about the "solid lines" tha...

Hawkrod is correct. Shorter driveshaft with the longer tranny tailshaft. I have a C6 with the short tailshaft. Can anyone tell me the difference in the long/short tailshafts. What they come in originally, years, etc. I have 2 C6's. One with short which is the one I have been using and I have one tha...

I agree with everyone here and especially Tom about some of these parts. I have bought many parts from him at the Moultrie Swap meet over the past 5 or 6 years. He does know these old slicks for sure. I just talked to him on the phone about building me a steering column for my (now, finally) power s...

Bill, I have thought about maybe selling it. Just wasn't sure if any one would be interested in a "pre"installed harness. I did have to modify a few things to use the original switches, etc. But it all works fine with no problems. To be very honest the harness was installed about 6 or 7 ye...

Wiring Harness

Hey Guys & Gals, I am looking to replace my entire wiring harness. I did it about 7 years ago with a Ron Francis wire harness kit but I just dont like the "BIG' fuse panel and the way all the wires connect. Seems like there are twice as many wires and looks like spaghetti junction under the...

Yes, I did put the bottom in the rubber first then the clip edge. I believe there are 4 "clips" on mine. I did wet all the pieces a little every day for abut a week. The corners pieces, I wrapped around a 5 gallon bucket and strapped them. I used 3 straps do hold them. BUT be careful at fi...

I trimmed my piece down just a little. I trimmed it on the side that goes in the rubber. Mine went in but I did get little crack in it. A little trick I did was run gray duct tape all around the edges on the back of all pieces. Thought maybe that would help with the edges "chipping/breaking&quo...

Hey guys, I have heard that about LMC stuff also. I took the chance and bought all rubber from them and everything worked out pretty good. Windshield and glass was perfect. The doors fit good and they where real hard to shut at first, but they are getting better. Some days in the hot sun seems to he...

Here are some pics of my 66 F250 I just painted.
What do ya'll think?
Only 133,000 miles.
Rescued it from a field where it had been sitting for about 5 years.
