Re: bcook07's Unibody Build

Oh no! I see you're selling it. Why? It's come so far, don't stop now!

Anyway, before it's gone could you supply a pic of how you mounted the rear of the front lower arms from the crown vic to your frame please?

And seriously...nice truck, it's come a long way!

If using the T-5 then yes, ford trans with s-10 tail to move shifter forward.

I had a 1993 f150 with a 300 and factory 5-speed what about using one of those?

Would a F-350 rock guard work? Weren't they notched around the frame rails? Or am I completely senile?

Really not sure...the crew kinda got pushed aside with all the focus being on the dented trucks right now. I am getting ready to clear up some garage space for the crew though so it can finally see some dry storage.

Had to rebuild my cab dolly to accomodate the frame and bed for now. Needed to be able to roll it out of the way so a little "dentside madness" could happen. http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh33/rj_little/supercab/th_IMG01115.jpg The red one is my brother in law's truck....rusty! http:/...

Thanks for that 3/4 rear view...I needed that!

I think I could shorten it up just a little behind the rear wheels.

I'd think you'd need 4 guys to lift the bed safely. Should only be like 4 bolts and the wires to the tail lights to remove it. Not sure as the guys that removed my bed when I went to purchase it....well, they used a torch and other tools of destruction. But they did load it with only 2 guys...2 very...

The 2 door bronco version looks like a 60's bronco concept ready for production. The changes required for the shortened rear doors on the 4 door would keep me from ever trying it. Definitely looks the part of most modern day SUV proportions though. Bluebolt: Those rear doors look huge! I bet the rea...

That is the way they were built...it's not as extreme as the black and white drawing makes it appear though. There is a little bit of an angle on the front edge of the back door windows. You should use those new holes in the bumper for ram air...kinda like a ford thunderbolt from back in the day.

Or

You could go twin turbos!!! Yeah...more power!

Try these out http://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww102/MeanMan66/Misc/crewsub.jpg http://i710.photobucket.com/albums/ww102/MeanMan66/Misc/unipanel.jpg Rich That first one didn't work...just getting a red X. Second one is cool, has a bit of a tail dragger look to it for some reason.
