Yeah, they look great......I'll score me a donor & get started.

Would you mind a visit sometime to take a gander @ the trucks & to pick your brain a little?

Thanks!

Anyone tried this w/ a long-bed & lengthened chassis? I've been toying w/ this idea for my '66....just need to know the best year(s) of CV donor to use (strongest frame & correct steering box location). Bit, I saw the blue Uni @ Mooresville year before last & loved it & it's stance! ...

I hated mine.......fell apart w/ casual driving.

Parts are expensive & you have to drop the tranny to replace the slave cylinder, on mine anyway. ZF much better....more durable.

I wouldn't swap in a M5OD tranny in my worst enemy's truck...had my fill of those w/ two trucks. ZF is a nice truck trans, but not swapping in a 429/460 or small block now. I was thinking toploader 4-speed (non-overdrive) as the truck will just be a cruiser from now on..... I found the info needed y...

4-speed swap

Any big surprises when swapping in a 4-speed (no-granny, non-truck performance style) into a '66 w/ a present 352/3-on-the-tree?

The truck will lose all haulin' duties (I have an F-250 HD for that) & just be a cruiser of sorts.....

Thanks!
