Bedside filler door: what tanks & necks have you guys used?
Hey guys. I picked up some 95 f150 bucket seats for my 64. Turns out I gotta ditch the in cab tank, which I wanted to do anyway. Problem is I have zero interest in using the bed floor for a filler door location. I want to fill it up through the outer bedside like a modern truck. What tanks and necks...

Re: 64 gas sending unit works removed, not when installed??
Center wire should be orange and it comes from the dash through the instrument voltage regulator same as oil gauge/idiot light, and temp gauge. The ground wire goes from the tab on the edge of the sending unit to a good ground, not on the tank, usually screwed to the brace under the rear window. Th...

64 gas sending unit works removed, not when installed??
Hey guys, I have a issue with my gas sending unit...it only works outside the tank..but once it's inside it don't work at all even full and the float is good. Best carpet source for 61-64 trucks?
Getting close to being able to put carpet in my 64, and Im wondering who sells the most durable, high-quality carpet out there, along with mass backing that may help with wind noise? (Already have jute with heat block) Wishful thinking?
As always thanks in advanced.

Re: gas cap leakage
Ok, is there any strategy for keeping the gas inside my gas tank and not pouring down the side of the truck from the cap? I try not to fill it too full, but it's hard to be accurate. Just filled up yesterday and gas is literally pouring out when I made a right hand turn today. There must be a bette...

Re: 61-64 w/ (OG ford) brake booster mount direct to fire w
I was using a small dia 69 Torino booster, but it had an adapter plate that I made, and then made an adjustable rod to the pedal. Sorry no pictures, took it off and gave it to a buddy for his truck. I like the manual disc feel better than the touchy power stuff. Robert thanks! Ill have to look for ...

Re: Speedway Disc Conversion
you might look into aftermarket steelies, I've seen some used with 66 and later caps so I'm sure it coud be done they added the clips by riviting them. I may do the same to my 64 as a set of winter wheelsmac wrote:So would spacers solve it? I want to keep my bottle caps.
