Flywheel bolts are special bolt. They have a thinner and bigger diameter head. I would think FORD would still have them. I did have a set around here not sure I still due though.

Never actually met Tom but we talked on chat more than a few times. Sold him a 1956 F800 former fire truck and a really nice pile of 79 F150 sheet metal. I was in Montana when he came for everything.

And to think I move here 3 years ago. Getting used to the heat now so it's not so bad. Worse time is Monsoon season after a rain the humidity goes through the roof. Rained most of the day today temps in the mid 70's humidity in the 80% range.

What about just finding backing plates from a newer truck. That should be a bolt on with the cables & pedal from a parts truck. As long as the axle bolt pattern is the same up to mid 70's will work.

I know of one guy who took a pre 2017 bed floor & made it work on a 66. He did have to move the floor braces around to fit the 66. Other wise it looked good when done.
