Problem could be in motors park switch which is inside the motor. I had to once fix that to make it stop correctly. My wiper motor did stop but just anywhere. Maybe yours is jammed always on.

I had same leak on my 62 truck. There was T10 transmission and there was all kind of problems with speedometer. Solved it by selling the truck.

My books says that 57-60 tube is 47.87" long and 61-64 is 48.10" long.

There is place for the sender on driver side cylinder head right behind intake manifold.
Should be 1/4" npt threads there.

Oil outlet tubes are in front on passenger side (#1 cylinder) and in rear on driver side (#8 cylinder).

Is there usable fenders and running boards under doors with all hardware? I have been looking those for my 61 F-600. Not much offering for those here in Finland.

From front suspension it looks like 54-56 Ford. From bumpers and what is left of hood hinge it is more like 54 Ford.

I have been looking for running boards with brackets under the doors and front fender rear lower extensions.

You have to switch oil pan with pickup tube, passenger car has front sump and in truck is rear sump, and timing cover to get the front motor mount there. Also water pump has thicker shaft that is in passenger car. And oil dipstick is in different location.

Years ago I had same problem with my 62. Fortunately I had one original spring left, but it was broken. It was enough for a spring company to make for me one copy of it and one mirror copy. Worked like a new. But the 62 is now gone and so are the springs, I will need another set of springs to my 61....
