Thanks for the tips.
I'm going to dig out my truck from the snow and give it a try tomorrow.
Will let you know how it goes.
I'm always amazed by this community.

Novice needs help getting horn to work to pass inspection
Hello all, I've replaced the horn relay, tested the actual horn and it works; but I can not get the horn to sound. I'm not too familiar with the horn button and it's parts. What else should I be looking for or testing? Any other way to get the horn to work? I can't pass NY state inspection w/o one. ...

Backfire when accelerating from 40mph to highway speed
Hi all,
Slick is choking when I attempt to get up to highway speed. Where should I start to look for the problem?
Also what type gasoline are you using to filler up?
What weight motor oil is recommended for the upcoming summer?
Thanks in advance

my headlights flash
My headlights flash when warm and if I use dimmer my dash goes black. Do I need new switch and upgrade to relays? Lmc sells heavy duty headlight harness for 30 bucks. Any opinions or reviews. New and in need of some expert advice. Thanks all.

Not sure if I'm doing this correctly
Just purchased a 1965 F100 longbed. The VIN number being F10JE700412
I show the VIN as representing a 2wd F100 built between 1961-1964 in Mahwah, NJ
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks
