Re: 64 f100 spindle Vs f250 spindle- f250 ford caliper brack
The spindles are the same. I parted out a 64 F250 and transferred the springs, rear axle and all the brakes over to my 64 F100. Front hubs even use the same wheel bearings, only difference being 8 lug instead of 5. Hope this helps.

Re: Torque Splitter Transmission
Hello again, my truck is a 64 f100 with 64 f250 brakes, axles and springs. my unit is quiet other than a little whine when slowing down in gear with it in overdrive. I followed the break-in instructions and only use Amsoil GL-4 gear oil in it like they want.

Pictures of Ranger fuel tank cover and bracketry
Ive searched the forums and gallery for some decent pictures of the fuel tank cover and bracketry used in the Ranger pickups but am not coming up with anything with detail or the pictures are no longer working. Is there anyone that can post up pics or provide a working link to some? Thanks in advance!

Routing for water valve cable on 64 f100
Does anybody have a picture of where the factory heater water valve cable comes out through the firewall? I couldn't figure out which hole it went through once I started putting my truck back together so I left it out for now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Firewall Pad Retaining Clips For 64 F100 + Other Questions
Does anyone know how many clips are required to hold the firewall pad on a 64 F100 2wd? My pad was 75% gone as well as the clips so until I get my new firewall pad I don't have any idea how many are used. Another question, has anyone ordered anything from John's F-Fun Hundreds? I ordered a firewall ...

Hey! Glad to hear from another Ham. I see by the ARRL site you are a technician. Can you operate on the Ten Meter Band? I have been hearing stations in your area lately since conditions have improved. Yes, I can operate on the 10 meter band. 28.300 to 28.500 ssb phone i believe. I either need to re-...

Hardest part to find when I was working on my 262 was the fuel pump, 64 223 pump wont even come close to working. Ended up buying a NOS pump off of EvilBay. Napa also did not have a thermostat gasket either but no biggie, I just bought some gasket material and made one. I have had no problems with f...

That goes between the adjustment nut and lock nut for the rear wheel bearings. I had a the same problem finding some when I rebuilt my dana 60 in my 64. I just used the later ones (79 F250) and made sure I bent the tabs in such a way that it pulled down and helped the tab stay locked in groove in th...

Just a note, When I converted my truck from 1/2 to 3/4 ton I had to drill out my rear spring hangers from 9/16 to 5/8. Not sure what would be the best route for going backwards unless you left the 3/4 ton springs in it. Or you could maybe just use the 3/4 ton main leaf and restack the leaf pack for ...
