I have the hlvp set up and I don't have any problems using line pressure at the regulator at the gun. I think you have a faulty pressure regulator at the gun.

Re: 390 Cranks over no start
Whitey. Sorry to hear of your problems. My take on your problems are the ready to run dizzy. Like anything electronic it is always prone to fail when least expected. I hope MSD will help you resolve this issue. I have used MSD products for many years and have had only one failure with a 6AL box but ...

Re: Headliner install help
skidoorulz I've never heard of using ammonia in the water. I use straight water and it works quite well. Be sure to let the headliner soak up well so it is flexable. I use a spray bottle and it may take a couple of applications before it is wet enough. I'm not sure where the clips go as its been a w...

I can't remember ford using them on any of their engine family's. Ford doesn't put that much oil to the rocker arms.

Re: Great success!
Oregoon I use a 12 volt dry coil from a fuel injected engine. They rarely fail and produce a hotter spark. Whenever I am in a salvage yard I snag a couple of them. I use them with the stock Dura Spark system and with a MSD box. One of the best ignition up grade you can do. Just make sure you hook it...

Re: What exhaust exit style to go with??
Max
Go to the uni build and check out how we ran the exhaust outside the frame rail. When its done that way it eleminates going over the axle inside the frame. There is more room there than one would think.

Re: 63 wrong bed Southern Utah area
I hope you took lots of dimentions of the cab mounts because I have yet to see anyone selling a cab mount that will actually fit. The drivers side is longer than the passenger side and they don't fit straight across. Some one on here, quite a while ago, made some drawings with dimentions that fit pr...

Re: Info on the 'Pertronics' ignition system.............
Pertronix is a good system and I have used their points replacement with good results BUT. The ignition system I use is the dura spark system with a couple of modifications. The duraspark distributer is very reliable and accurate. It is the only part I use of the duraspark system. I use a dry coil f...

Rams horn exhust manifolds
Need help identifying the manifolds. I am aware that there is a rams horn that fits the larger truck Y block and is there a set that fits the smaller Y block. Part numbers or casting number would help. I don't have any pictures yet as we just found them yesterday and I didn't have my camera with me.

Re: Rods 63 UNI long bed ProStreet
Here we go the long awaited "one piece door glass install" We hauled out the KIT and read through the instructions for the ???? who knows how many times. Looked at the crappy black and white pictures on plain paper with felt pen notes and arrows. Got out some measurement tools the soap sto...

Re: 64 Tweety Bird
But...... Isn't customising fun. Measure and plan till you go blind and, get everything situated just like you want it and CRAP how did I miss that. We had to redo the console in our truck 3 times befor we got it right and now it has to be painted again. Had to re-do the upper valence twice, had pai...

Re: Rods 63 UNI long bed ProStreet
Ok more progress. We have started the wiring and will be hiding the wiring so it won't be seen in the engine bay. Got paint on the inner fenders, core support, and the fenders edged and got them hung today. All in all we are making some good progress in the last few days. Here's some pictures. http:...

Re: Rods 63 UNI long bed ProStreet
We have made a lot of progress but, like Uncle Skip, most of it doesn't show. Today we got the headliner from Dennis Carpenter installed. It fits very well. It needs to be pretty well soaked with water so it can bend without breaking. Got the cab interior dyna matted and it's pretty quiet inside the...

Greg.
Just measured the one in the shop and it varied between 3/8 to 1/2 inch. I doubt there is any difference between non trim and trim versions.

Re: Rods 63 UNI long bed ProStreet
The vent cable holes have chrome caps. We would have removed the drip rails had there been any damage to them or the top. The hood scoop is presenting some challanges but that is how it is with custom work. I think I have it worked out. I'll start on it in a few days. We scored a big truck lower val...
