Don't know for sure about the width of 8.8 on the explorer. I thick it narrower than a 9 ''. But , the disc brake set are suppose to be a bolt up deal on a9''.

Replace my master cyliner, bleed brake , but still have to pump pedal acouple times for good braking. This on a 65sb with 78 axles,disc brakes in front,drums in rear. Could the power booster be bad? Pictures in my album of new bucket seats I installed. Used original supports from Ranger pickup to bolt these to. Seats were from a ford van.

Mustang seats were use in the Ranger Custom Cab. The mounting brackets are unik, and hard to find. E Bay sell them sometime as high as $175.00 a set. It been said that bracket are the same on the early Bronco????? :lol:

AS a general rule , oil pressure will read higher on cold starts. When the engine begans warming up to operating temp oil pressure will read lower. AT idle warm 20 is ok. The better shape bearing will yieid higher. Ole saying says you shouid have 10lbs of pressure, for every 1000rpm .

Hi Guys, I've got 71 Lincoln 460/C6in my 65. The transmission mount on end of the tailshaft are shot. Have look allover Anchorage cann't find new ones. Went thur the local salage yards,nohelp. Anybody know were I could order new I say THANK YOU.

It could be a Dana 44. I've got one with a 3.89 limited slip. Look on right side axle housing for 44 case intohousing. The I.D. tag may still be onthe back axle cover.
