But there were slicks at Knott's
This past weekend, we were at the Knott's Berry Farm All Ford Show in Buena Park, CA. There were over 1800 Fords of all years and varieties in attendance. There were only 3 slicks there that I saw. There was a black 61 uni that was extremely street rodded. There was a baby-blue 66 shortbed 4X4. And ...

spare tire holder
This brings up a question I have.
I also have the bracket mount for inside the bed for my shortbed...
Is there room to mount one of the underbed hangers on my slick?
Does anyone make these items anymore or should I start looking for the parts elsewhere?

Oh, yes... The extra hose on the radiator hose is the tranny cooler.
Each of my trucks has this hose going back to the tranny.

Questions, always questions! The blue/white shortbed is a Ranger option which explains the bucket seats and console. I plan to also take the original wheels, back window, and some of the interior appointments off of the green/white longbed to use in this one. The green/white longbed is a real rust b...

Pictures of my two '66 Slicks
I finally got my act together and put a few pictures of my (now) two '66 slicks into the photoalbum. The blue/white shortbed is the project truck that I have had for a few years. The green/white longbed is a future parts truck for the shortbed. The 352 and FMX tranny in this one are good strong runn...

Anyone consider a mild turbo on a 223? There is an old Falcon running around Tucson that has a 240 with a turbo on it. It does 10's in the quarter mile... The guys that built it were recently featured in Mustang Monthly and they had a list of all of their 6 cylinder vendors/contacts. I can post tha...

Re: Powdercoating a frame
Hey all... made a few calls today to places around my area that offer powdercoating, I found one that can sandblast and powdercoat the frame for around 500 bucks. Now considering all the labor i would need to do and the cost of the material i was going to use, it sounds like the way to go! Guess wh...

FE Headers
This might not be a popular answer, but LMC has headers for 352/360/390 that are made by Hedman Headers. Cost is somewhere in the $260 - $325 price range.

New to Forum
I just joined the Forum.
I have had my '66 F-100 Shortbed for about 2-1/2 years now but I have owned my '65 Mustang for 36 years.
I hope to pick up some good info and ideas for resto-modding my Slick from the collective intelligence that abounds here.
