Re: BlackTruck Build 65

Over all that's not bad condition for the cab. That cowl and the last photo will be interesting to repair, I'm not sure what you call the piece in the last photo but I had to repair both sides on my 66 what a pain but you'll be able to handle it. I'll be watching to see how you manage.

After looking at photos I took when I started tearing my 66 down it looks like the flat edge goes to toward the windshield.

You're right about that heater, we had one in the old house and it did a really good job and that house wasn't energy efficient. We had the red radiant heater.

Re: Front Fender Patches

Both of my front fenders need a lot of metal replacement. Not sure whether to get fender patch panels or new fenders. If I get the patch panels I wouldn't replace the whole piece I'd just replace the places that need it to maintain the integrity of the fender during the work.

Re: Front Fender Patches

I just looked on Dennis Carpenters site and they have front, rear and lower rear fender patch panels and they're made in the USA. Their fenders, strangely enough, are imported. You could call Carpenters to see how much of the fender is included in the patch panels.
