I went the cheap route and bought so me summit tubs, which I think they were like 60.00 dollars. Just didn't feel like paying ...

Re: Crockett, CA checking in.

Not sure yet... I am going to gusset giant gussets from frame to pontoon top and bottom and half way around the back. Then cut a piece to cap the rear. I was kinda going for an open middle. Still undecided. That is why I left the 2x4 end pieces sticking out. For a safety standpoint it would be good ...

Re: Crockett, CA checking in.

Been a busy week here at the house on my off time. The week kicked off with my buddy John (Unibody Madness) swinging by with a few pairs of f250 2 piece drive shafts. Which rich (rbeck204) so graciously offered up for my build. So thankful, thanks rich. Now I can start piecing my drivetrain together...

Re: Engine Dies at 15mph + problems

When the egr opens it lets in added air so the carb is jetted for thar added air. When you remove the added air you end up with added fuel. That is my thoughts.

Re: Interviewing at China Lake Naval Weapons Center

It is the Navy's largest piece of real estate in the world at 35%, and it is inland. The lake is 8 miles wide and 17 miles long and 143ft deep. Other than that, you know how the internet works.

Re: Crockett, CA checking in.

Taking a second look I see your brackets have quite a few position holes to choose from. Looks like adjusting pinion angle shouldn't be a problem. What rear are you running there? And I'm guessing youre running a parallel 4-link to the inside of the frame rails? And bags over axle I assume? Can't w...

Re: Crockett, CA checking in.

Got my final pieces to the rearend and bagun assembly yesterday. This is the end result and I am pretty pleased. I can't wait to see this under the truck. Hopefully I will get to that sooner than later. I set the mounts to a neutral position. I'm not to sure what pinion angle yet, because I am going...

Re: slamming a cv ifs

I'll be working on that in a little while. I figure I got to build plates to fit the top of strut housing to give a more level mount and fab up a bottom bracket to hold a bag. should work out okay hope to get loooow. camber will prob be an issue. but, it is kind of inherent. wish i had something to ...
