Thanks to all! I thrashed late friday getting Johns truck on the road. It was really the maiden trip since the brake upgrade and rewiring. John enjoyed everyone as well. Not sure where to start! maybe starting is step one! I think with all the talk about gas in 08 it kinda made anyone with a slick kinda of feel bad. I have some ideas in the works. To early to share but promises to satisfy the appetite. :lol:

I have the same engine with electronic only and run 42-44 on a stock plug. You can go one step hotter but do not try and run a new late model style plug that was degigned for fi. They cannot take the fuel/oil from an older engine IMO. You will be throwing away good money.

I have run the LMC kits on 2 different trucks. I tuck the 2 relays left side core next to the oe horn relay. One could do like Jason or Skip if they wanted to.

I would not rule it out! Drive down the road and push clutch in when vibration comes in and see if it goes away. If it does not check and make sure none of your needles fell into a cap and or that kinda of thing. You may want to loosen the carrier bearing and take any load off it and then retighten....

I have teh 2 spd switch and delay. Turn Left for delay and right for 2 spd. I just wondered up to what year motors would fit?
