Re: No rear brakes
Have you tripped your pressure differential switch on your brass metering/regulating valve? if you do not have the light switch hooked up, check it with a multi-meter or simple test light hooked up between power and ground .

Re: Ford 223 PCV Conversion
Well you are in the right place to look for it... try posting in parts wanted. Meanwhile do not block off the vent opening. if the block can't breath it will find a way. My son once took my truck in for a service and tune up and for some reason the clown mechanic plugged the pcv line and the engine ...

Re: Ford 223 PCV Conversion
The best way to upgrade is get all the ford parts to do so There are a lot of folks replacing 223's in favor of larger engines. If you do not have a auto dismantler near you, and nobody steps up here, try vintage ford sixes. I am not sure but believe the factory PCV just bolts into the spot the road...

Re: Intermittent wipers
thanks Tom I did all the clocking and testing and it works great, however it is really sloppy when installed. how would you go about doing that on a 61? Is there a bolt on bracket that works with the old linkage?

Re: Intermittent wipers
It's been awhile since I did the swap, but the motor I bought did not just bolt up, and rigging the arm linkage was tricky as well, leaving me with sloppy wiper movement

Re: neutral safety switch
I am sure the electrical gurus will chime in. I have been wanting to do the same for my manual t-5, my idea was to interrupt the signal to the solenoid so the starter can not turn unless the clutch depressed ... if the starter won't turn the engine can not start at a dead stop even if the ignition c...

Blackwaterforge : thanks I was wondering how to do that,I actually only have one left that I might try that with. How would I achieve 1450* with only an acetylene set up?

Horn button springs
Thanks to the Camp fire,my stash of horn button springs are either lost in the rubble or have been heat treated beyond repair. Anyone out there have some spares? I need at least two.
