What and Who did you go with if you bought one?
I'm needing to replace mine and so far all I have is a LMC catalog. They got it shipped here quick..
I'd like to know what worked for you and would you do it again.

Re: What have you done to your slick today??
Repainted the front hood emblem. Most of the red was gone or faded. So using the wife's nail polish. Yep I'm asking for trouble.. I repainted the V8 emblem, set it out in the sun for a few hours. Then used an exacto knife I removed any of my mistakes and clean up the lines. Polished the chrome and t...

Re: Nobody ever sells a good used car!
I saw a 66 slick crew the other night. It was running a diesel engine of some sort.. I thought it was bad ass, my wife not so much. Though my wife did drive my slick to work today. :steering: I found her a 64 slick, that she likes, but she won't pull the trigger. I can't blame her. Her argument is w...

Re: Overal truck dimensions
I was only able to find wheel base measurements online. Doesn't help you for bumper to bumper though. I can tell you they are long trucks. At least my 65 lwb 4*4 is. Its longer than the 64 Fairlane wagon I sold. Mine fits in the garage but doesn't leave much room to walk around it. So, it stays outs...

No ac. Just a plain am\fm radio too. No cd, tape, or satellite.
Rubber floor mat instead of carpet..
It did have a cloth 40/20/40 bench seat.. that was about the only other option it had.
Great truck, just wasn't practical for my needs.

Re: The Dilemma:
Steve: From where I'm standing, you have a running driving truck that you can take out and use any time.....and I know you want a rod, but I'm thinking if you get rid of a driver for YET ANOTHER project, you may have regrets fairly soon......I personally would hold on to (and drive the wheels off) ...

Re: How to install stock steering wheel?
You might loose the billet collar. How about posting a picture of what you have to install? Because it looks like you'll need more than a steering wheel. Hit a pull n save and find a 70s f series with a floor shifter and grab the collar from that. It appears you have the turn signal part attached to...

Re: Email notifications
I have it turned on here and so far it isnt working.
I belong to not so popular ford vehicle groups so blowing up my email isnt a concern.
it just nice knowing when someone has replied to one of my million questions.
This group is known as the slick apedia of all things slick.

Should I be worried that 2 weeks after buying my first slick, that the wife wants to get one of her own? I mean we only have a three car garage thats occupied by two falcons and a fairlane. my slick is so big it doesnt leave much room to walk around in the garage. So its outside in the driveway. The...

Re: 352 fe normal oil pressure
Hmmm.. I have 30 plus at 2k Its the warm idle that concerns me. 12 psi at 600 rpms usually means worn bearings. It could also be nothing.. maybe a bad sensor.. Guess I'll start saving for a 390 upgrade.. Question is do I want to find a 390 block or just put 390 internals in a 360 block? Any pluses o...

Ok, first off let me say I did a search and didn't come across anything. Second, the engine seems to run just fine, no noise, doesn't over heat or anything like that. Third my numbers I'm quoting are from the factory gauge that's almost 50 years old. My 65 f100 engine is supposed to be a replacement...
