I have done a couple of these trailers and got LMAO at rich "Just be sure you don't burn the wiring up during welding and cutting" Let you guess how I learned this. Something I also did was to remove the ring gear so the the pinion would not be turning while going down the road and to redu...

I have never seen a red 67-71 and did not realize they could look that sporty. Nice car.The 429 is a much better engine but I think the 64 will hold its value better. Always wanted to go on Hot Rod Power Tour with a Tbird. All the creature comforts and when them boys crank em up in the western state...

Quick hint,,, buddy of mine had to install new u-bolts and was able to buy a lowering kit with 2" blocks for less money than spring shop wanted for the u-bolts alone. Sold the lowering blocks at swap meet for even bigger discount.

Even harder to find is the 61-67 Econoline gas tank. It has the same dimensions as the Mustang but has a side fill.

I would really consider a Vette under a F100 myself. Have looked at them since Flat Out came out with their kits. It fits the frame and track width of 53-72 Ford trucks too damn well to ignore. The mounting points on the Vette are 36" apart, our frames are 34. That leaves 1" per side to fa...

The trick to spark plugs in an Aerostar is to go in from wheelwells.
Ask Fordboy Pete about these. He loves them!

I wonder if it the same principal of cowl induction hoods and how NASCAR air intakes are at back of hood. It is getting cooler air than under the hood and in front of the windshield is a "negative pressure" (not sure the correct term) area.

Post pictures of your trucks! Both sound great. There are some guys on here currently installing the same IFS (Volare') as yours. Nice ride as long as you don't lower by loosening the torsion bars.

Are you going to make the panel? I know a street rod manufacturer that can make that for you.

I think you can use the 57-58 front turn signal lens in the 57-63 wrongbed hole for a clear lens. One of my favorite custom but looks stock tricks was putting another set of taillights under the originals like in that last photo. Most folks would not even realize it was not syock.

Rich, my buddy has a 7o 429 that was rebuilt but it must have too much crank bearing clearance because there is not much oil pressure. The heads were rebuilt too. Also has a Doug Nash over/underdrive like Gear Vendors for a C6

Mustang II front ends kits get a bad rap but there are no Mustang II/Pinto parts in them, only their design. Heidts had a failure problem and has caused that company to be sold, maybe as a way out of litigation, I don't know. The Crown Vic craze here also has problems, mainly width. I personally lik...
