There's a couple of caps here that would look good on your truck. I like the FRDC22.

Re: Rear Wheel Cylinder Interchange

https://www.dearbornclassics.com/wheel- ... -1964.html

I know these cost more than the Auto Zone types, but they are 15/16. and I'm pretty sure the two bolt holes are the same on all.
Hope this helps.

Re: Rear Wheel Cylinder Interchange

Charlie, if I remember correctly I replaced the rears on my F-100 from a 64 Galaxie station wagon, and I believe they are 15/16 dia. Best thing to do is have both in hand and decide...pretty sure the bolt pattern is the same.

Looking for parts! Close by...

I'm in need of the kick panel vents, both sides. I'm asking here because I'd like to find some that are in driving distance. Thanks

Re: New 63 owner

Hey Jeff. not sure if this is in your rebuild plans, but it would make your FE sit down in the frame alot nicer. I have it in my 63,

And it will work with those headers also!!

Re: Aftermarket front wheels

It looks like there is only .125" difference between the 6" and 7" smoothies with one being 0 and the other +.125" This does help with my decision because they are close to the offset of the wheel I would like to use. I don't see the 200S in a 5.5" bolt circle. Do you know ...

Re: Aftermarket front wheels

Hey Charlie, OK, I understand backspacing and offset, just not in metric terms :) My point in the above was that I do not believe you would be able to tell the difference from one wheel to the next. Maybe I'm wrong? And I doubt you will find anyone who can tell you the answer to your question, think...

Re: Aftermarket front wheels

Well, I'll post something.. First I do not know what +11 offset means, but I have a set of Wheel Vintiques smoothies in 15x6 and 15x7 that I run on the front, can not tell any difference between the two, also have my Americans that I run and up front they are 15x8, still can not tell any difference....

Although mine is an FE, it still uses the stock fan, never runs hot, but I have an electric backup as well..and have never even turned it on. Stay stock. cuz if you lose electric to the fan, well!!!

Sounds like you really do not want the truck! So why not just put in an aftermarket floor shift and then sell it?

Re: Two inch body drop

The pic above is what the cuts in the bed look like before doing the finishing work. Thinking about a wood floor, or maybe a wood bed cover...
The battery is just sitting there, its mounted under the bed in that same location to the frame rail using the original battery box.
