Re: My '66 LWB Fire Chiefs Truck, pics added
I'm considering doing a two tone paint scheme with red and white. I think it needs something to break up all that red. I wont have to redo any of the artwork other then the Chief lettering on the cowl which is no biggie.

Re: '66 Sweep Cluster wiring diagram needed
Okay I got it figured out. I was right, it was connected to the metal stud on the gauge cluster as it grounds the cluster lights. My next question is can I use that wire as a hot for my new guage lights?

'66 Sweep Cluster wiring diagram needed
I took my cluster out to retro fit some SW gauges and I'm putting it back in but I've got a wire that I can figure out where it goes. Its hot when the light switch is pulled out and I think it was attached to one of the metal studs that holds the wiring harness clips and the reason I say that is bec...

My '66 LWB Fire Chiefs Truck, pics added
Been playin' around with this for the past few months and I've finally gotten it close to what I want it to be. Still need some more "props" like an old canvas turnout coat and some rubber 3/4 boots as well as an old motorola motrac radio. Well I was gonna add some pics but it wont let me....

Re: Rear cab cargo lamp
I thought they were originally for another vehicle because I seen on one of them it was stamped LH and had a C4 part number. Do you remember where you mounted yours as far as up/down location? I was going to center mine but it almost looks like it would seal better mounted a tad below center and it ...

Rear cab cargo lamp
Anybody ever retro fitted a later model cargo light to the back of their slick cab? I've got several from the 67-73ish bodys and I'd like to put on on my slick but not sure if the rubber gasket will seal up good enough.

I've got a '66 Mustang Deluxe Woodgrain wheel on my '66F100. I like the look and it works well.

'66 F100 rear bumper
Just wondering if the chrome rear bumpers that you see advertised in the catalogs are offered in just plain white? I dont like the shape of the painted treadplate style bumpers that I've seen but I do like the chrome rears but I've got a painted white so I need them to match.

Carpet/Rubber mat underlayment options
Looking for ideas, cheap ideas, on what to use on the floor under the carpet or rubber mat to limit noise and provide insulation? I bought some foil backed bubble wrap used in HVAC installations and was going to use that but I'm just not sure how well this will hold up. I'd like to find something th...

Not sure of the history. As for trim rings, I dont believe anybody is mass producing these. I have seen some made out of wood which looked pretty good.

Re: 302/5.0 Recommendations
I would suggest a later model 5.0 from a Mustang, say 89-92ish, swap out the EFI and go with carburation and then back that up with a nice C-4 auto. The C-4 is PLENTY strong, lighter weight and very plentiful. The later model 5.0 will give you the better heads, roller lifters and TONS of aftermarket ...
