Re: Tire Size
265-70-15
265mm wide = 265mm / 25.4mm/in = 10.43in Wide
265 x 70% Side Wall Height = (265 x .7) / 25.4 = 7.30in
Total tire Diameter = 7.30in x 2 + 15in = 29.60in
Those will be ok. 29 to 31 in is a good truck tire size.

Re: MadMaxetc's 1963 Build
Well I got it together. :burp: The crush sleeve from the was made from un-crush-ubtainium. :cussing: I took it back apart and put just the crush sleeve in between 2 plates on the press. I pumped on the 12ton jack until it wouldn't budge...the crush sleeve didn't budge ether. :boxing: After reading a...

Re: Rusty 63 F100 + 04 CV PI
When you hit a bump the lower A-Arm will want to move back and inward. So I would vote for #2 and a plate in front. It also wouldn't hurt to put a triangle gusset or 2 on the inside OR box the frame.

Re: MadMaxetc's 1963 Build
So I started to rebuild my differential today. Detroit True-Trac LSD, Richmond EXCel 3.70:1 Gears, Richmond rebuild kit, and one very dirty and worn out '76 9" carrier. http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h142/madmaxetc/63%20F-100/Rear%204-Link/20130928_095404_zpsde439b06.jpg It took most of the ...

Re: seeking advice (removing windshield)
I cut the rubber from the inside. I didn't have trim, but it would have been fine if I did.
I used a razor blade and kept it hot with a propane torch. It slid trough the rubber nice.

Re: gas tank problem
Empty gas
Fill it full of water.
Cut the bad one out.
Epoxy a new one in. (JB Weld)
Empty the water
fill with gas.
Enjoy.
If the pickup is rusted, then that tank is not far behind.

Re: Headlight relay question
Grounding back to the Batt. would be another way to reduce the possible voltage drop. If you have good grounds between the fenders, core, frame etc... it shouldn't matter, but a dedicated wire is the best way to be sure.

Re: Headlight relay question
Make the high load caring wire as short as possible. This will reduce voltage drop as much as possible. I would mount them on the PS on the back of the core support.
