Well I think I found something. I have been looking at a black tarry substance on the in side of the inner fender. I got to following the trail up and it looks like it came from the ignition box mounted on the fender. Is there anything inside the box to get hot and run out that would look like tar.....

HELP, Ok guys the coil and ignition box was not the problem. I ran it till it quit and changed the box and coil and it did not start. Any body have any suggestions what to check next.
