Transmission identification question
What type of mid to late 70's trans is a 4 speed manual with 4th gear being the overdrive gear ? It's from a 78 F150 and I need a drive shaft for my C6 automatic and I'm hoping the yoke is the same , I found this manual trans online , but have not seen photos yet.

Re: 1966 f100 shortbed value
For $3 K that truck should have no rot with an engine/ trans that runs , I totally agree with everyone else ...way too high !
Take your time searching , there are nice trucks out there for $3000 or less ......that's my two cents

Re: Manual Fuel Pump Question
the problem is the 5/16 has to somehow connect to the 3/8 coming from the Holley Carb , I can swap out that 5/16 for 3/8 , but I don't want to lose fuel pressure
This is a picture of the Holley fuel line which is 3/8

Re: So what's under your hood ?
That's a " BIG NO " on the air cleaner , it's just to cover the carb while the engine is being assembled. I'm leaning towards a repop steel 50's bat wing air cleaner.
