Re: What have you done to your slick today??
Used the slick to take a load to the scrap yard then did a quick run to the PYP yard. 1 66 F350 there but pretty well picked over. Then came back and fixed one of the power windows, just a screw backed out so it was good to go in 5 min

Re: Earthquake!!
Oh we have other niceties to add to our miseries. Sink holes; Hot and humid weather; Supercells that spawn short lived but devastating tornado's; Lightning strikes and of course our regular house menu of hurricanes and Tropical Storms. But 'Florida' is my home and all is not too bad. Yeahhhh ill st...

Re: More GoPro Video
Well for your enjoyment heres a few more local trails. My buddy shot the video with his iPhone duct taped to his rear view mirror. These two are 4x4 only, no OHVs, the opposite of Divide peak http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usM7-S6DCpE&list=PL232D9EF94E483BD4&index=1 http://www.youtube.com/wa...

Earthquake!!
Got woken up by an earthquake this morning. A 5.0 less that 4 miles from my house. It didn't damage anything here but it was strong enough to wake everyone up. So that makes a local earthquake and a local brushfire this week, definitely SoCal for ya.

Re: More GoPro Video
And to think that trail is in Commifornia. Its getting tougher and tougher ride locally here. There are plenty of 4x4 trails locally but that trail and two others are the only places within 2 hours to use any sort of dirt bike or quad. We have Pismo a couple hours north of here and california city i...

Thanks! Thats a local trail here in Santa Barbara, runs on top of the mountains behind the city. Awesome views of the Santa Ynez range to the north and the channel islands to the south. 17 miles each way and saw only one other rider the whole day.

Some of you might be interested in this, one of my friends made a short video from some helmet cam footage a shot at Pismo beach and Divide Peak trail over a couple weekends. It was all shot with my GoPro mounted to my helmet or my quad and in one part my friend held the camera when I was riding his...

Re: Rant. New salvage yards
There is one local yard here that still lets you pull parts. $2 to get in the door but prices aren't normally any cheaper than buying parts new online so I only go when I need hard to find parts. The other two yards pull the parts for you and charge a fortune. The only one of the three yards that ta...
