When I worked for my Dad as a young guy he said take the youngest, dumbest [usually meaning me] hit them over the head with a baseball bat to make a scraper hand. The secret of the cable rigs was to keep the slack out and not tube lock them. They sure were hell on a hang over!!

One of my Dads trucks went over on its side and slid down about 50 feet after a under cut gave way. He showed up checked the driver out looked at the truck on its side and told the driver.

Get your grease gun out, the damn thing will never be any easer to grease. Tough old man.
