You might want to replace all brake lines and hoses.

I used a M/C from a 68 Mustang from NAPPA. Bolts right up. I did have to modify the rod.

My '66 is steel from the carb to about 6" from the pump/filter. The last 6" is rubber. I don't know if this is the original set up.
