Re: 2 Master Cylinders On Firewall
My slick is a factory hydraulic clutch (RHD) This is the original setup, brake master on the left and clutch on the right. The clutch even had the threaded part for the brake switch (plugged in the picture)Whilst the lids were different, the two were the same externally. http://i66.photobucket.com/a...

Brake pushrod firewall seal
Anyone had any luck finding a replacement? Mine no longer seems to be there and it's letting in a bit of 'fresh' air from the engine bay I'd rather it wasn't. I thought about a standard grommet with a hole cut out of it (which I'll do if there's nothing else) but when I did this to the mustang the p...

Re: Black or body-color bed liner?
So far it's still good. No peeling at all, but I have put a few scrape/scratch marks on the floor. I thought using it for the landscaping would cause the most wear when I shoveled out the back, but Any scratches have been from moving furniture or dumping rubbish. I'll take a pic and post back for you.

Who uses their slick?
I went to the tip the other week to dump some things that needed to go. A few guys there commented on how much they loved the look of it but then said it's far too good to be used for dumping things. I kept going with my load and drove off. Today I went to the landscapers to pick up some garden mulc...

Ok I have to ask a stupid question, why can't you use the factory filler spot with a pipe through the cab floor and sent back down to the tank?

Re: Windshield
I've done chrome, new glass and seal on both 62 and 66 windscreens. Neither had them from the factory. (Didn't get them in Australia) I personally prefer the look of the chrome moulding, looks much more period to me and the chrome is really what makes these stand out from newer cars. That said, I th...

Re: Needed: Pics of pages from '61 Ford of Canada Shop Manua
So this is what I have, I bought it to decode my own slick off fleabay some time back. Says it was printed Feb 1969, I believe its a 65 manual that has tabs for the parts that were different between years 66-69. Surprisingly not that much was changed other than the sheet metal. http://i66.photobucke...

Re: Needed: Pics of pages from '61 Ford of Canada Shop Manua
I actually think it's a 69 manual, but it has index tabs for years 65-69 and covers back to 65. It also has the big slicks. I can post more pics if you like?
