I'm running 235/45/17 8" in front and 285/40/17 10" on back. I have a 4 1/2 backspace.
I have no problems. Of course it is easy to remove rear wheels when the truck is on a lift. While doing it on the side of the road, It's a bit challenging but doable.

Bad tracking usually caused by bad spring pack. Either the center bolt holding pack together is bent or broke. You could also have broken springs. Check hangers and all mounting areas for damage. ie: cracks, loose bolts etc. etc.
