couldnt find any actually for a sbc. who wouldve thought there would be anything for a sbc advance doesnt carry but what bout these looks like same thing

man i wish i had seen that before just by glancing at it i bet you could buy those pins and sleeves for that mustang and just reem the f100's and use those greasable pins

i went and looked at the bushings and doesnt appear to be removable but my wear is actually in the hinge itself i guess nearly 50 years of it riding back in forth. so ive done some digging and found a pin that would be "oversize" for our trucks but is designed to be a oversize pin for a 56...

i got my new door pins today from dennis carpenter and there just a factory style replacement and i looked around appears everyone else sells the same pin. so what is everyone else doing on rebuilding there hinges? i had thought about trying to find pins like for a chevy that are oversize and boring...

id rather just buy new bc work alot and dont have much time to rebuild the ones i got. i did see dennis carpenter had door pins are all the door pins oversized so i could go get a drill press and reem the bushings?

anyone know where i can get new door hinges for the top? i bought a set from sacrament vintage ford wasnt real happy with them anyway there actually used i guess with a new pin but there actually for the bottom?

i think id cut it down to fit and weld it back up. if i rem right the 4wd uses the wrongbed which was ugly on the truck it was actually designed for

ive got one and am very happy with it but i do notice it doesnt fit well where the hinges slide into the gate and there was a post on here while back saying that there is suppose to be a bushing that goes there most are long gone and no one makes them ive gotta dig that post out sometime to see bout...

the way im doing it and what i gather most do is before you do any cutting get your doors lined up good as possible then cut old roof off put your new one on make sure door lines are still the same and windsheild fits and start welding!

yea the part that goes across the back of the cab i dug it out today bc at some point alot of water had gotten into my cab and i was rebuilding part of that corner where the bed side comes together and and those corner pieces are welded to the back of the cab so i wanted to make sure that my interio...

ive been rebuilding a corner on my uni that was rusted out so i dug out the rod doors rear cab cover and the 2 corner pieces just to make sure everything still fit and i keep end up being "short"

i wouldnt junk it id sell it for someone wanting to do a cv swap on a f100 maybe get 200 or so out of engine and tranny and say 300 or 400 for the body and frame
