Re: 64 f100 center caps.
OK guys I'm new to the site I had a 66 f100 In the past. Now I have a 64 f100 with a y block V8 nice truck but I have a question. The wheels that are on the truck are smoothies with the center cap "nubs" on the inside of the ring around the rim. My 66 had the "nubs" on the outsi...

Skip, I won't know anyone there but if you're going to still be there on Sunday (early) I will be able to make it. If Sunday doesn't work for you just call or text me and we can figure something else out

Re: Pate Swapmeet 2014
Can anyone tell me what time they close shop at Pate on Thursday? Me and a buddy would like to come up after work and would like to know what kind of time frame were looking at. Not really a set time for closing. Some people start shutting down about 4-5 pm ish but some stay open (the big vendors n...

That would be awesome. I've found out that I'll be working that weekend unfortunately. However, I'll see if I can break away earlier in the morning on Saturday or Sunday and come out there

Re: A couple wiring questions
Ok. That makes sense on the relay.
The thing with the ignition switch is my switch looks brand new. It's the rubber part on back that plugs into the blades that's no good and it doesn't come with a replacement switch. I'll just do the stake ons with some heat shrink. I'll feel safe with that

A couple wiring questions
Has anyone here bypassed the starter relay? It seems like it isn't necessary and can be eliminated altogether. Also, on the back of the ignition switch mine had some sort of rubber protector. I called a run of the mill parts house and they said they didn't carry it. Can I just use stake-on fittings ...

Re: the holy grail of custom slicks!!!!
It's a little over accessorized for my taste. I like the flake and the scallops but I think it would have been better had he just kept a more complete truck. I've never been a fan of the "molded" body around lake pipes. Further, lake pipes belong to the fifties...bellflowers are a 60's mod...

Give us an update as to how it drives. I'm more curious about just a front sway bar ride but I'd like to hear about a front and rear as well

Re: WIRING!!!
i guess more people on this site than i thought are bitten with the "original or bust" bug. There's no way anyone can convince me that a 50 plus year old harness is better than new. Even NOS-never been installed wiring. I'm actually appalled at the thought of this. I really hope the OP is ...

Re: WIRING!!!
I really hope I'm reading the above responses wrong. Please don't tell me you're recommending a USED harness when replacements are cheap and much safer.
To the OP, Rebel wire makes a "9+3" circuit harness that is perfect for our non tricked out trucks for under $200.
