Heater control valve.

My truck didn't have one on when I got it and want to install a manual one. Can I just install one off the hose from the intake? I see the newer trucks have "T" fittings built in the valves. Do I need to add a T also? Thanks guys!

Fresh air heater

Hi guys! My 66 has a lever on the heater box that has 3 positions that I can't think of off the top of my head but I think it's defrost, floor, and off. The knob on the dash says fan high and low and pull for heat. It does blow heat when pulled but what is it supposed to do when it is pushed in. I t...

Re: Stock steel wheel offset?

Thanks again for the info. They are 1/4'' spacers. The wear seems to be just the outside edge and wears it down to s sharp squared off edge.

Re: Stock steel wheel offset?

Thanks for the reply! He did have to bend the beam and said it was spot on.... I know the guy likes things being perfect but I'm with you thinking that it is alignment. Everything with the steering is new and good. Maybe I should get an other opinion on the alignment.

Stock steel wheel offset?

Hi! Can anyone tell me the stock steel wheel offsets on say 1974 stock wheels and also what they are on 1964 "innes"? Long story short, I have a 66 f100 with 74 spindles and disk brakes. Cut half a coil and had it aligned (and rechecked) by a guy that has been doing this for 40+ years. I r...

Re: 13'' wiper blade refills!

Sorry haven't been on for awhile. Trico. 43-130. If they can't get them call 763 441 5160. I was amazed how helpful they were there, I had asked at least 6 other places in the last few weeks and got the same old "they don't make those anymore... Good luck finding them..."

I Beams

Hi Guys. I Have a 66 f100 that I am replacing king pins on. After I got the spindles off the one side the king pin fall threw the I beam without much effort.
I have a 68 f250 2wd camper special parts truck with disk brakes on. My question are the I beams the same as my f100? Thanks again guys!

With that being said.... Will the brackets for the power steering and alt work from a 351vwork on a later 302( 4 bolt bottom pulley)? I know I need the bottom pulley also. Thanks again!

Master cylinder swap

I have a 66 f100 that I'm installing disk brakes on. Will a master off a 68 f250 with factory disk work if I would use 74 calipers? Thanks!

Re: 302 in my 65

Alright so tonight I pulled the harmonic balancer off and looked to see if it spun. As I was pulling it off I noticed the pointer looked kind of crude. Turns out it was home made and way off. I put the motor at tdc and made the 10 deg mark and got it to run ok but I kept losing spark. After a lot of...

Re: 302 in my 65

Also I wasn't very clear here. It quit running and wouldn't start again until I replaced the points ect. I used the same firing order as the previous owner and tried the other 302 firing order also. I will need to rent a puller after work and check out the key.

Re: 302 in my 65

Thanks Jamesdfo. I was wondering why he would change it also. I was using the front passenger side as #1. The truck ran fine when I got it a few weeks ago and just wouldn't start one morning. I am confused by the balancer not being at 0 deg when the #1 piston is at tdc. Is this something strange? Th...
