Re: my shipwrecked '63
I spent a little time trying to seal my oil pan. The oil is escaping at the timing chain cover where the oil pan meats. And appeared to be the rear main seal too, but after putting rtv on the oil pan, and started the engine after putting oil in, there is a slight leak on the pushrod cover. In betwee...

Re: my shipwrecked '63
Spent some time in the garage.
Figured out my fuel pump problem... I just need more fuel in the tank!
I did another valve lash and tightened everything up. Sounds way better in person than in the video.

Re: Oil absorbent rag in an engine
Engine is scheduled to come out again on the 3rd. everything we did in that video is happening again. What a huge waste of money/time/manpower. I know the report of investigation came out and cleared my crew of any wrong doing. The support detachment was identified twice as the cause of casualty and...

Re: my shipwrecked '63
I'll get it figured out.
Just got back from a 5 day training shakedown cruise. Imagine my old ship circa 2019 when everything was going nuts and breaking. Just 5 days!
No days off yet, but soon enough.

Re: You got 5 minutes ?
I’ve got 30 days till I deploy again. Coming back to a ship again was the worst decision of all decisions in my life. 2 more years.
