Re: 305/70 tires on 10” wheels
Yes
55 mph around 1950 rpms in fourth gear direct.
70 mph around 1950 in fourth gear direct.
I think I am going to go with 285/75 R 16 tires on 8” rims.
I think they will be easier to put on a full floating axle.
I appreciate y’alls input.

Re: Brush and cattle guards for Slicks
I have one like the one pictured above on my 66.
I purchased from a member here.
They come up on eBay.
It fits perfect is stout and has 1” braces that go through the core support to the frame.

Re: 305/70 tires on 10” wheels
This would be for the rear.
Fronts are 235/85 R 16
I want something that will fill the wheel wells but not rub.
I have 7” inch rims now and would like to run 10” on the rear.
I have a 4.10 rear end but I have purchased a 3.54.
33” tires should put RPM’s around 1950 at 70 mph

Re: Hydroboost
Thank you for the info.
Cummins pump is from tater chip truck that had hydroboost.
I am using a reservoir with dual returns and a filter.
I have a power steering cooler from a f650 plumed into the steering return.
Still have lots to do before I can drive it.

Hydroboost
Got hydraboost mounted today. I cut mounting ring from F-450 mount and welded to plate that fits clutch/brake pedal bracket. Still have to plumb and make brake lines. https://s19.postimg.org/7uo8clqlr/IMG_3401.jpg https://s19.postimg.org/4cc8g7ppr/IMG_3402.jpg https://s19.postimg.org/hcjdywmwf/IMG_3...

Will be straight piped.
I am using the Borg Warner 4-speed that was in the step van.

I will have to have hoses made for the power steering swap.
Steering sector is from a 73 f250.
Would any of you know the fitting size, type and thread count?
