SlickStock 9 Cruises
Although it will likely be a while before we can confirm I want to remind everyone that we will have cruise destinations each day of SlickStock 9. We are hopeful to have the same/similar cruise destinations in 2021 that were planned in 2020 and will post updates as they get confirmed. 2020 Destinati...

Re: heaters ... but nothing to do with trucks.
I've always been a little skeptical of those vent less gas heaters. I have considered it for the garage since overhead doors aren't sealed well and thus you get more natural ventilation from those. But it sounds like you haven't had any problems - even in the house (basement). Has it ever shut off o...

SS 9 Auction & Door Prizes
With the goal of saving some time, we will not be doing the 'door prizes' at SS 9 this year. We will still do auctions (mostly silent and possibly some live) for fund-raising. There are absolutely no obligations for anyone to donate items for the auctions but all items donated are greatly appreciate...

Re: Windshield gaskets?
I'm assuming the sealer is between rubber and metal (not rubber/glass).
And is it installed after the glass/rubber is in place (pulling back the outer edge of the rubber)?

Re: Week odfAug 2nd till the 9th
Although they said the hotel reservations will transfer I would still recommend that everyone call to confirm. I don't want anyone thinking they have reservations and show up to find out theirs didn't get transferred correctly. The hotel is the Comfort Inn in Marshalltown Iowa. The number for the ho...

Re: 65-72 Wheelbase info needed
The bed is only going to 'sit' correctly in one spot that matches the contour of the frame unless you move the crossbraces under the bed floor. (frame rails are not flat along the top). So sliding the bed isn't practical. I'm not sure about what you are saying you have - you say '65 body and chassis...

Re: Clutch Pedal rubber bumper?
Yeah, if this dent version I ordered doesn't work I was thinking I would probably try to find a generic rubber bumper with a hole in it that i can us a recessed bolt/washer/nut to hold it in place. Something like a typical shock bumper - only smaller..........

Clutch Pedal rubber bumper?
Anyone have suggestions for what to use as a substitute rubber bumper for the clutch pedal to ride against? I can't seem to find a true replacement for '65/66.
I ordered one listed for dents so i'll see if that works later this week (after it arrives) but I suspect it may not.
