Re: Anyone install a 67 or newer parking brake pedal?

I think it could be made to fit. cap vent hole, modify mount at dash end, hole in floor and side of body mount for cable. Replacement body mounts have this hole. I thought about this for my extended cab but did not do.

Re: A few questions...

I would go with the 6 over a 289, power should be about the same. A 4 barrel and headers would look cool.

Re: tips for starting a "sitting" engine

I would remove spark plug and put some oil in each cylinder, remove valve covers put oil on rockers, let a little run down pushrods, turn several times by hand then a few times with starter, replace plugs. Make sure points are not stuck, run a piece on sand paper thru them, a very little new gas in c...

To get completely right, looosen hinges one at a time just enough that will slide with pressure and bump hinge with hammer, check and repeat as needed. If door needs raising I sit on rocker put p...

Another piece of probably useless information. The big ford cars (ltd) from 73 to 78, possibly later used 5 on 5, same as caprice and c10 trucks.

Next move will be to nursing or funeral h...
