Yeah, with rifled barrels, I can see how BB's would mess them up. Those are pretty neat & from that close-up pic, it looks like the bluing on them was pretty nice when they were new.

I had a local polish shop remove the old anodize and polish my aluminm\um grill. I then taped off the portion that I did not want black and had it powder coated black and then removed all the tape and had them powder coat clear over the whole grill. I used some very fine steel wool to dull up the b...

Re: Ford Windstar van's Heater not blowing heat

Fan still blows, and... That sounds like the blower motor is wtill working. I'm not familiar with Windstars, but to me it sounds as if you have a problem with the heater valve...assuming it has one. If something's clicking, it sounds as though the heater valve is electronically controlled so...

I stay away from both of 'em.
I'm a member on enough forums as it is & consequently, a good portion of my time is spent keeping up with those. I don't want another one to keep up on.

But thanks for the offer, anyway. :)

I read an article in some car magazine about this anodizing stripper from EASTWOOD. They said it worked pretty good. I haven't tried it myself, but for $20, it would be worth a shot. :)

Good to know, that means I won't have to buy a new socket for the uppers, if-n-when I need to change a set. Looks great Garbz. Slap on some night time illumination de...
