Re: Carlisle ALL-FORD

Sorry guys, I couldn't make it. I wanted to go so bad but sometimes you can't help it.
Jackie and I renewed our vows on Sunday. It was our 40th anniversary. Jim did the honors for us. Thanks Jim.
I even got Betty out for the ride out for supper. Was a great day.

Re: Spring Splash

Sorry guys, There won't be a SpringSplash this year. We will have one next year. A few of us had talked about having it on the off year of SlickStock. We want to call it SlickEast instead of SpringSplash. I should have posted it after last years get together. Hope everyone can hold off until then. I...

Tailgate Literature

I got to thinking about tailgate literature. As most of you know, I had a sticker made up and put it on that reads: "American Made" "What's Yours?" Well, Here's one for someone with a 4x4 to have made and put on. I did this over top mine on the computer so you could see it. Who's...

Welcome Elliot. I've heard a lot of guys say they were just going to fix and drive. Somehow or other there is a bug that grabs hold of you and will have you doing more than just drive. That is a good thing though. We like pics here and look forward to what the bug will do to you. http://i283.photobu...

Dang Dude!!!!!!!!! You make me wanna go work on mine now. That looks absolutely out standing for what you started with. I like the whitewalls and the caps. She's gone

 Well, After someone changed their mind. My son sold the unibody he had for sale. I won't say who bought her but I will say she is staying in the Slick club. She got a ride in a closed in trailer today heading out of state. I wanted to take some farewell pics but didn't. I asked him to take pic...

Pat, Just tell everyone you had to pull the tractor out. You decided to pull it backwards because you had a stiff neck and couldn't look back to pull it forwards.
Nice pic.
We don't have any snow here yet :(

Re: 65 F100 4x4 parts truck turns project

Wow, You took the plunge on this one. I really like the flat black along with the black wheels and the white walls. It has a real nice look with the white walls. Keep an eye on the starter with it being that close to the headers. It will over heat from the headers. My plan for my 65 2 wheel drive is...

Holy crap Gregg, You might as well grab the whole dang truck. Wind shield looks good too. Wonder what's in the glove box. I saw the turning signal trim laying on the dash. Is that a power brake booster between the seats?
Almost like a scavenger hunt picture. This was fun.

Gregg, You might want to snag that steering wheel on your next visit. It looks in good condition. They aren't too easy to come by in good shape. Mine is cracked but I repaired it. Grab the horn ring too if it's there. I'm sure you can unload it here to one of use 4x4 guys. And get that shifter knob....

I use a piece of plastic from a childs plastic carrying case for some kind of toy. It had a texture that looked like a bed cover. I trimmed it to fit then painted it semi gloss black. I used a piece of foil to mock the chrome strip across the top edge of the tailgate to look like a tailgate protecte...

You could also just use a piece of flat stock (metal, plastic or even a piece of plywood) and then cover it with material to match the interior. The possibilities are endless. A piece of flat stock covered w/ wood grain contact paper. Then run something across the dash to compliment it. Anything is p...
