Kid, a couple years ago, I looked at adding a corn burner to my heating system. That was when corn was $2/bushel. Now it is $4/bushel so the payoff has been moved way back. Still considering it because I don't want to buy a chainsaw and splitter. Besides, I am surrounded by corn.

Get a Co2 detector too. It is an odorless, colorless killer that the neighbors won't be able to see. No warning.

The 4x4 and vans had rear sump oilpans. Sometime in the 80's, Ford started using the dual sump pans on cars and trucks.

Tom, my panel is in the corner of the shed waiting for me to save enough money to trust another bodyshop. Send me the details of how you solved the blindspot. I was also thinking about the peep mirrors at top of the door, but dont think the two together would look cool. Help me make a decision pleas...

At $3/gallon, the payback for the overdrive would be justified quickly. It depends on how you plan to use your truck. Like mentioned before, if you don't drive it much, it might never save you any money. It is one of the best modifications I have done to my 56 panel and my son's 63 Slick. They are b...

If you are worried, slot the holes so there is adjustment, top to bottom. A washer would cover it. Better now than after paint.

Gary you did just fine. I hope you don't think you meddling. The majority of Badgerland could care less if we use the track. It is not under control yet but I think with Kid's help, everything will be ready to go.

Look at the 8 sided spider (Stator?) to see if it has rust on it. Had a Duraspark do that once. Cleaned the rust off and it ran for years.

These are the same mirrors that Ford has used from 1953. My 56 panel truck has a massive blind spot on the passenger side as you might imagine. I had J & B Microfinish make me the bracket from billet aluminum so they would'nt crack like the stock die-cast parts. We also made the passenger side 1...

I have been telling Bork for years that there is a "61-66 Truck of the Year" trophy waiting for him in Knoxville at the F100 Supernationals. Both trucks would sure look better in some of the magazines than the Brand X stuff featured. Imagine how many people would be inspired to buy or buil...

The track is 33" wide and 40' long. It comes in 8' sections. The "start" end is about 5' tall. Gary, Mike is who I am dealing with and he understands. It is stored in Wisconsin but between now and then, I will go get it. By the way, I have assembled it several times since we all fumbl...

An update, I basically have permission to use the track from Badgerland F100's. Just have to figure out the logistics. I was hoping the track would fit in my shortbed box but the sections are 8' long. Soooooo, considering a plan B. Wondering out loud of putting it on my car trailer sideways??? Wonde...

Use one of those Unibit drill bits. They are expensive (about $25) but excellent for drilling plastic and thin sheetmetal. Some have to have a pilot hole drilled to get them started while others can drill their own. I have used mine for well over 10 years.
